What Causes Diesel Vehicle Engine Vibration

Update time: 2025-12-01    visits: 1

There may be several reasons why a diesel vehicle engine vibrates:

1. The injector components of one cylinder are sticking or atomizing poorly, causing that cylinder to stop working or work improperly. In this case, a cylinder cut-out method can be used for inspection.

2. Uneven idle fuel delivery from the injection pump causes uneven operation among the cylinders.

3. Improper idle adjustment can be resolved by adjusting the idle fuel delivery screw.

4. Improper valve clearance causes that cylinder to stop working or work improperly. This can be resolved by adjusting the valve clearance.

5. Poor valve sealing causes improper operation.

6. The engine is at high temperature or lacks sufficient engine oil, causing the components to run with difficulty.

7. Severe carbon buildup in the engine. The solution is to clean the fuel circuit and remove carbon deposits from the idle control motor.
