Noise Control Principles for Low-Noise Diesel Generator Sets
Update time: 2025-05-08 visits: 1
During operation, diesel generator sets normally produce 95~110dB(A) of noise. The noise generated during generator set operation causes serious harm to the surrounding environment, so it must be controlled. Low-noise generator sets mainly consist of a standard generator set, a soundproof canopy, intake and exhaust noise reduction devices, and an exhaust silencing device. By installing sound insulation and sound-absorbing layers in the soundproof canopy, applying noise reduction treatment to the intake and exhaust air passages, and using a combination structure of industrial-type and residential-type silencers for the exhaust, high-frequency and low-frequency noise are reduced respectively.
