Traditional diesel generator sets have one drawback: they are loud.

Under normal conditions, the noise of a standard unit in operation can reach 95-110 decibels, and if people stay in such an environment for a long time, hearing damage is inevitable.

If it is used in places that require quiet, such as residential areas, hospitals, and office zones, it becomes a real problem. Low noise comes from excellent design

The reason traditional diesel generator sets are noisy is that they have an inherent limitation: when an internal combustion engine, especially a diesel engine, drives the generator rotor to produce electricity, it generates considerable noise.

To fundamentally address this shortcoming, Kaihong Power first adopted a low-noise generator set with its own silent advantage—the super-silent generator set.

Then, to further reduce noise, Kaihong Power also developed a noise-reduction enclosure with a new structural design for internal combustion engine generator sets. By creating an uneven inner surface inside the enclosure, the distance between the internal combustion engine and the enclosure is no longer fixed, forming a multi-layer barrier impedance. This mismatched silencing structure makes it difficult for noise to form regular patterns.

With this new structure and new design, Kaihong silent units can disrupt the return path of noise and effectively prevent echo buildup, thereby reducing overall noise volume.

More compact and space-saving

To maintain strong noise attenuation performance, Kaihong silent units feature a more tightly sealed enclosure to reduce noise transmission. This design also significantly reduces the overall size of the unit and minimizes the required footprint, making the unit more compact.
